Just picked this package up off front door, poorly packaged, opened book up, it opens to Revelation, I’m no Biblical scholar but I know Revelations is not the 1st book of the Bible & it is upside down. Very disappointed 😞
Missing the book of 2 Corinthians and parts of Galatians
I am rating my personal copy of this Bible a one-star because it is missing 2 Corinthians and part of the book of Galatians. The Bible overall is a wonderful first Bible for young boys - it's laid out well and is everything the distributor has described it to be. In fact, my son has had this Bible for two years and taken it with him to his children's church services and read from it at home - he loves his Bible. However, it wasn't until a week ago that I used his Bible during one of my services and our scripture reading was from 2 Corinthians. What a surprise I had when I got to the end of 1 Corinthians and the Bible jumped straight to Galatians 3:2. The Bible has not been damaged so those particular books did not 'fall out' of the spine of the Bible - they just aren't there! I'm sure this has to be one of few copies of this Bible that has this defect. Otherwise, I'd certainly give it a 4.5 star rating.

Well, it's the Bible so of course it's a 5 star review. But in all seriousness, it really is a nice Bible for boys. My 10 year old son took it to camp and it seemed to be a good quality cover (I wanted softcover) in the translation I preferred, and the price I wanted. I added tabs to the side so he can easily look up the books of the Bible without getting frustrated and they stuck well. Pages are thin but NOT like the super thin pages you might get with adult Bibles. It stays open when he has it open on a table which was also important to me when choosing a "real" Bible for my child. He can study and read and make notes without the thing closing up on him (think hardcover). However, if he's at the very beginning or very end, that doesn't always work out but I didn't expect that. I would recommend this Bible for boys up until they start high school.
Don't wait, BUY IT.
Don't hesitate, buy this. My 11 year-old son reads this willingly and joyfully. GREAT features throughout this Bible, specifically aimed at boys. The 'grossology' blurbs are the best! Glory to God!
Love this bible!
My 9 year old son loves this bible, it makes studying the bible fun and interesting for him. It would make a perfect gift for a young boy whose not quite a teen yet. My son really love the Grossology facts the book has and that they highlight important verses.
Arrived damaged, still functional
I love the bible itself, but it came damaged in a few spots. And it was packaged fine. Which leads me to think it was sent damaged. I'm sad as I don't have enough time to send back for a new replacement. This is my sons upgrade from his children's bible and it was a gift for him. Might be better off going to a book store (our Christian book store was out locally so I took the chance here).

Wonderful bible
I have a NIV study Bible and wanted one for my son. I recommend this bible. We started reading it for homeschooling and he doesn't want to put it down. I am so pleased
How can you go wrong with God's Word :D
This was a gift for my grand-son, and he loved it!! Praying this gives answers to his inquisitive mind :) The cover is a little sensitive, so I told him to be careful with it..
A gift
for my daughter's foster son who is just shy of 11 years old....I read and reread the info on the Bibles for boys, 8-12. This Bible offers many really neat clips to read. One is called grossology....Information that might be found to be gross are brought up in these highlights. From what I see, I would recommend this to anyone looking for an interesting Bible for a young boy.
